Today I woke up reflecting what I've done in the last decade. For years, I have ideas and theories of my passion, but because of working I feel like I am unorganized and have not managed to follow my passion very well. Some may say, well if you really have passion you can achieve what you want, but you have to make sacrifices. I have sacrificed, my main sacrifice is really staying at my job (which I do appreciate and love as well, but not as much as my passion) and being bound to a work schedule where I need to figure out work life balance. I have to say, after working for OVER a decade now, the position I currently hold gives me a better work life balance thanks to my teammates and manager.
If you ask why is working a sacrifice? Well you see, it's stopping me from pursing my passion full time. I can't do my passion during work hours because I have to be loyal to my investor. Investor? You see, my job is my biggest investor in my passion. Like those who join SharkTank for a chance to get funds, my job is my SharkTank. It provides me fund to continue with my passion interest free, invest into my retriement and also funds to pursue my passion while providing stability and health care here in the USA.
You may ask, "Well, then how are you going to pursue your passion?"
After many years of struggle and growing more mature along with the help of technology, I learned of tools that enables better updating on my focus area. There is so much I want to do so I've came to the conclusion I want to do everything still, but since life is short I decided I should continue to share my passion and share the experiences of where I get weather I fail or succeed while networking and empowering others like myself.
I have decided to use wix to blog and use YouTube to document my journey through a VLOG/tutorial type method to update more efficiently and with limited funds. I hope you will join me in this journey and come back time to time :).
Yours truly,
Angie
